There’s something magical about letting go of perfection and embracing the wild — and that’s exactly what Vanessa and Matt did during their unforgettable “trash the dress” session in Point Reyes.
The dramatic cliffs, rolling hills, and crashing waves set the stage for one of the most emotional and freeing photo sessions I’ve ever captured. Vanessa looked absolutely stunning in her dress, even as it danced in the wind, soaked up ocean spray, and picked up traces of sand and sea. Matt never took his eyes off her — completely in the moment, grounded in their love and their laughter.
What I love most about “trash the dress” sessions is the symbolism: the celebration of the day after, the start of a new adventure, and the willingness to get a little messy for the sake of joy. Vanessa and Matt embraced every second of it — barefoot on the sand, wrapped in each other’s arms, letting nature be their witness.
The wind howled, the waves crashed, and these two just held tighter. It was raw, romantic, and incredibly real.
